My FYP title is Ad hoc Protocol Evaluation testbed using Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) Protocol. I am under supervision of Mr. Nordin. My friend, Eu Yee Ka is testing using another protocol that is AODV-UU protocol.
Mobile ad hoc network(MANET), is a self-configuring network of mobile devices connected by wireless links. There is a need for rapid deployment of independent mobile users in the next generation of wireless communication systems.
The Optimized Link State Routing Protocol (OLSR) is developed for mobile ad hoc networks. OLSR is a proactive routing protocol. The protocol inherits the ability of a link state algorithm and has the advantade of having the routes immediately available due to its proactive nature.
